Summary: Oskar, a bullied 12-year old, dreams of revenge. He falls in love with Eli, a peculiar girl. She can't stand the sun or food and to come into a room she needs to be invited. Eli gives Oskar the strength to hit back but when he realizes that Eli needs to drink other people's blood to live he's faced with a choice. How much can love forgive? Let The Right One In is a story both violent and highly romantic, set in the Stockholm suburb of Blackeberg in 1982.

Overall: So…this is where my hate mail starts to come in…

Everyone love this film and if you haven’t seen it yet, you’ll want to visit other websites and read their glowingly articulate comments of this film.

          Because now it’s my turn.

It’s not a bad film, not at all…

But…It’s a slow plodding film. It’s glacially slow and boring. It takes forever to get us to any points such that I had to keep rewinding it to see if I missed anything. I get the points others make of the film…the girl…the depressing atmosphere and time period for the people…how horrible everyone’s life is…she’s a perpetual 12 year old. Blah, blah, blah. It’s not entertaining…It’s not interesting. It’s like watching Soviet-style film propaganda. You’re waiting for the comments on why Soviet Communism doesn’t work and begging it to be focusing on vampires and blood. “Come on…get on with it!!!”
