Summary: The next great psycho horror slasher has given a documentary crew exclusive access to his life as he plans his reign of terror over the sleepy town of Glen Echo, all the while deconstructing the conventions and archetypes of the horror genre for them.

Overall: There are few films that I sorta avoid for no particular reason…could be the title or the dvd cover or the cast or something doesn’t sit right with me. I figure I’ll watch it eventually but something tells me, skip it. But the praise has been high for the film so I figured, why not. And it was totally worth it. This was a fun, entertaining film that’s totally worth the watching. It’s basically about a serial killer preparing to do his job and setting everything up just like your slasher movie would. You watch as he plans everything out, clichés galore, etc and has an answer and solution for all. His friends who support him were the best though and really just moved this into “supreme” status. There are few films which are original out there…and yes, this is like “Man Bites Dog” in the fact the killer wants the crew to follow and catch his story. This film takes it a whole new direction and does a tremendous job putting you the viewer into the film as u try and figure out why is he missing from the plan or how the film will end. I loved it!
