The Last House on the Beach (1978)

Summary: Sister Cristina is a nun who takes the girls in her care to a mountain-side house where they rehearse A Midsummer Night's Dream. However, 3 bad guys show up, terrorizing the girls and doing unspeakable things to them. Only she can stop the mayhem!           Overall: I really expected much more from this film. It’s similar to “Last House on the Left” and really leaves a lot of potential for rape, nudity and other sexual mayhem. But I never found it scary or suspenseful or even disturbing. It’s a slow film with confusing motives on all and frankly never got the idea the Nun could be such a badass as the film wanted eh to be. Just another film…nothing special here.           Comparison: Last House on the Left meets Sound of Music
