Summary: We’re back again at the same lake with a new sheriff, a new “Fish and Game” rep and the relative of Mrs. Bickerman. Oh and a few oversized crocs terrorizing the residents. First no one believes anyone, until the croc get out of control and go after 4 young teens ready to enjoy some topless sunbathing!
Overall: Call me crazy, but seriously…after a while, you’d think the Sci-Fi Channel would at least improve their effects over time. Assuming for the second they can afford good graphics…wouldn’t u want to make your film more “believable.” The film begins and ends with graphics. That’s the point. Super-Big crocs terrorizing people. You need good stuff everytime a croc appears. And after years of putting out bad effects films, the tv channel still fails so get any better. Doesn’t evolution alone suggest that every year there might be some improvement? The first moment you see the fake-looking Croc, you’ll simply hit the “stop” button and turn off the film. It really is that bad. What I loved about part 1 were the crocs. The effects were superb…great across the board and made the film watchable. Once u see the crocs here, it’s over. And that’s ignoring the fact the characters in this film are basically copies of the first movie. Sure the switched the genders of some roles…sheriff with Fish & Game, etc. But that’s not the point. You can look at the way these characters act and talk and basically mourn the fact you’re missing the good actors from part 1. What a waste. I sure hope the actors got paid because the film really ends up a giant waste of time. Comparison: Super Croc meets Lake Placid |
