Summary: Tatsuya Suzuki sells off the house to a young couple, Hiroshi and Yoshimi Kitada. At the same time his son Nobuyuki seems to be having some trouble adjusting to their new apartment. Tatsuya asks his sister Kyoko to see if there’s anything she can do for him, but instead she also gets affected by what she sees there. Seems the house won’t let any visitors escape alive!!!
Overall: The film is 70 mins long but essentially recaps the final 30 mins of the previous film, herein. So at times it seems sorta a waste but frankly, I was in such a good mood to watch these first 2 films, I’m ignoring it. It’s interesting how vastly different this sequel is to the 2 “remakes” made later (including the US version). This really is like a brand new film. I love the way these first 2 films work and connect together and it really gets scary towards the end. Good film. Comparison: None |
