Summary: Jesse James is convinced to join a local outlaw Butch Curry in robbing a stagecoach. However Butch's brother doesn’t like Jesse and betrays him to the marshal who plans an ambush. Jesse escapes the arrest attempt with his partner Hank Tracy who ends up badly wounded. Aided by a local peasant girl, Juanita, Jesse goes to seek help from Maria Frankenstein, the granddaughter of the infamous Baron. But Maria is only helping long enough to use Hank as her own personal guinea pig for her diabolical experiments. And even Jesse James may not be able to save old Hank.
Overall: Such an awful film. Bad acting. Fake sets. Hell...even the plot is terrible. Juanita sends the 2 outlaws to the castle knowing how terrible Maria is. She gives them no warning. They go and she saves Hank. Then Juanita starts to warn them and tells them not to trust Maria. Now given that Juanita gave them the info and at least at the beginning Maria did what she said she’d do...why should they believe Juanita??? Shouldn’t she just have warned them upfront? Silly film with sillier rainbow experiment hats. Please skip. Comparison: Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein meets Silverado |
