Summary: After the first manned expedition to Mars is marooned, a rescue mission arrives. But there is only one survivor: Col. Edward Carruthers, who appears to have murdered the others. According to Carruthers, an unknown life form killed his friends during a sandstorm. On his way back to Earth to deal with his supposed crimes, the travelers realize this unknown life Form has gotten onboard!

Overall: Let’s address the easy criticisms up front. The creature looks silly and fake and I cringed everytime I saw it. And yeah sure, maybe the best they could do in 1958 but in 2010, it’s silly. I think the film’s major issue was the plot. I think they really could have milked the suspense and all but basically doing what “Alien” did. Draw out the time before u see the creature…don’t give it away s early. Let us suspect the Colonel longer. I thought the film has so much more potential but it got really silly with the fight scenes, bad creature outfit, etc. Skip it!

          Comparison: Dracula 3000 meets Alien
