I Still Know What You Did Last Summer (1998)

Julie James is back and with her boyfriend Ray and some new friends. She wins a trip to the Caribbean and takes all her friends but arriving there finds out that it isn’t the tourist season anymore. Just then the mysterious Fisherman drops by and begins to torment the island’s guests, but this time he has a tag-team partner!
Overall: I think the biggest problem with the film was lack of decent actors. They replaced Geller and Philippe with 2 lesser-talented actors. I also think the biggest reason they added these 2 were solely based on race. “Scream 2” played it the very same way and bottom line was the actors they grabbed just aren’t good enough. The story is much weaker since anyone who knows geography realizes the answer Julie gives is incorrect so the trip is obviously a ploy...yet the ploy still works if she answers the question correctly. All it did was serve to dig at America’s lack of skill with the subject but it didn’t help the plot at all. The elaborate set up by Ben Willis and the son also was just too unrealistic to be “do-able.” Why not just terrorize the 4 back at the college campus. It’s cheaper and more efficient.
