Overall: Unlike the first 2 films, this is an out-and-out comedy. And they’re really focusing on the “titillation” factor, pun intended. Many a comment about how she’s naked, how she’s cold and even having her get dressed so they can see her. The focus of the film is to get the men to imagine what she looks like just as they can’t actually see her. The effects for the time were pretty decent and the film is “fine…but not a worthy sequel and frankly, just a comedy with no real scary/thriller-ish ideas to it. Frankly even Shemp Howard provides no reason to see this movie other than to catch the 5 “Invisible Man” films. Comparison: Hollow Man meets Clueless |
