Summary: From the makers of the award-winning NEVER SLEEP AGAIN: THE ELM STREET LEGACY comes the ultimate look back at Wes Craven's horror classic, SCREAM. Someone has taken their love of documentaries one step too far. The ultimate look back is going to be murder.
Overall: I find these 2 hour documentaries sooo fascinating. It’s picking a cult film and then taking you back to how it was conceived, pitched to the studies, cast and filmed. And you realize all the innumerable mistakes that almost made on the road. Different actresses or actors the studio wanted which would have made the film not as good or downright awful. The many issues the director or studios had with scenes which looking back worked great but at the same time, could have been useless. I enjoyed watching this and finding out how much Courtney Cox wanted the part and how little anyone wanted her. Great film, great for it’s time. And with “Scream 4” coming out tomorrow, 4/14/11, it’s sooo timely! |
