Zombies/I Eat Your Skin (1964)

Summary: Tom is a writer, more concerned with the ladies then writing his next book. So his agent and the agent’s wife take him to “Voodoo Island” to find story ideas, as they research some new drug. But what they find is real zombies and how much in danger they really are!!!           Overall: I think the film tried at times to be legit but that cheesy jazz music ruined it all. How can I buy voodoo rituals with sleepy jazz music? Now granted, some cool elongated rituals but every good point the film makes is quickly followed by a bad one. The effects were silly and the makeup was too much. No real point in watching this.           Comparison: Serpent and the Rainbow meets Boa
