Hybrid (2009)

Summary: When four friends decide to rent a schooner for the day, everything is smooth sailing until they encounter a derelict ship adrift in the ocean — a massive trawler that looks as if it had been dragged from the bottom of the sea. When they spot a frightened little girl waving at them from the bow, they have no choice but to investigate. As they get closer to the ship, they discover that the girl is not alone.           Overall: Now I normally do not review comic books here but I was given a few choice trades so I figured, why not!           I liked this one. We have a spooky creature and just enough intrigue to keep me going panel top panel to find out more, more, more. The flow and pacing were just right. The deaths were unexpected but still buy-able. I was genuinely interested in the characters and the backstory. Definitely worth the time to get this one!
