Summary: A mad scientist kidnaps a trio of tourists in order to "reassemble" them into a new "creature.” Bored with humanity, he’s looking to make them “new.”

Overall: Well I figured I was the last one to see this film. It’s amazing but for the most part viewers refer to this film mainly the same way: terrible. Some call the worst film ever. I think both of those superlatives exaggerate and frankly, compared to many films I’ve watched (and reviewed), this was light years ahead on acting and effects. I think the film’s main issue is its story. People are horrified over the ideas the film gives us. It’s not exactly a sane plot by any stretch of the imagination. But it’s executed with some competence and as it proclaims itself “100% medically accurate,” I think that it’s facts/explanations do help eliminate critiques to the “realism” the film has/doesn’t have. It’s a fairly insane idea and that’s where the films either gains or loses viewers. Do folks wanna see this, wanna buy into it, wanna accept it? If not, it’s a terrible film. If so, folks will find the film to be quite well done.

Where do I fall on this film…? I think given its limited subject matter, it does a good job. The film’s flaw is in its insane/psychotic idea of a deranged doctor. Why does he want to do this? That’s my major issue and I’m not sure the film answers this well for me. Once the plot gets going, the story does a good job of keeping the doctor brilliantly insane and slowly eviscerating our victims. Good work here but totally a film you truly need to be ready to see, before you in fact see it.
