House of Usher (2006)

Summary: Three years after her lover, Rick, and her best friend, Maddy, had suddenly disappeared from her life, Jill received a phone call about Maddy's death. So Jill returns to the house of Usher and as such her love affair with Rick is rekindled as she learns he suffers from the same disease that took his twin sister. Everything progressively gets worse and soon Jill may not get out of the house alive.           Overall: It’s an average film. Another new yet similar envisioning of the other “Usher” films. We get them as young teens with a very pretty lady playing Jill and more than enough sequences of her wearing less than a smattering of clothing. As for the plot, it’s a slow film with a very jolting ending however. Worth 1 viewing.           Comparison: House of Usher (1960) meets “Nine Lives”
