House of the Devil (2009)

Summary: In the 1980s, college student Samantha Hughes takes a strange babysitting job that coincides with a full lunar eclipse. She slowly realizes her clients harbor a terrifying secret; they plan to use her in a satanic ritual.           Overall: I know a lot of people enjoyed the film and I even spoke to Jocelyn Donahue in an interview…and I enjoyed speaking to her. But man this film put me to sleep. Just sooo slow and just plodded along. I get what they were tryignt o do…spooky, 80’s wanna-be etc. And that’s fine but it just took forever to get to the point. It had the potential to be creepy…But it didn’t succeed for me. To be fair, many a folks loved this film so if you watch it, enjoy!           Comparison: Final Exam meets Night School
