S.S. Hell Camp/La Bestia in calore (1977)

Summary: Dr. Krast is the sadistic, Nazi Warden of a concentration camp who has been conducting experiments to create a “Master Race.” But to achieve this, she’s gotta learn what makes people tick and only after stripping them naked and having the ladies raped and men tortured can she achieve this.           Overall: One of the worst of the “Video Nasties,” this is the usual “Naziploitation” fare. It’s featuring sexual experiments involving a sadistic female Warden and her need to torture everyone in her way. The film has some fairly awful scenes that if shot better really could have made this film truly disgusting. As it was, the quality of the film and lack of $$ to make the film better leaves the scenes more of something to laugh about than anything. Examples: few women are raped, one woman’s groin is ripped open by said rapist’s mouth, another woman is impaled with a gun whose trigger is then pulled, and another has her groin being eaten by rats (substituted in acting by Guinea Pigs). As you can tell, had these scenes been done well, this really coulda been a shocker. It’s a silly film otherwise...nudity everywhere, men and women.
