Bela Lugosi meets a Brooklyn Gorilla (1952)

Summary: Entertainers Mitchell and Petrillo parachute into the jungles of a Pacific island where they encounter a lost tribe, the chief's daughter Nona, and a mad scientist Dr. Zabor. Seems the doctor has his eyes on the Chief’s daughter so these visitors’ intentions are seen with some hostility. But our two entertainers aren’t about to let that stand in their way and they’ll stop the evil experiments the mad scientist is engaging in!           Overall: Just an awful film…awful, bad, terrible...dreadful. The “entertainers” are direct rip-off on the Martin & Lewis act so what you have here are bad impersonators. And the plot was useless, acting atrocious…an awful film all around. If anything our two “entertainers” bore a audible resemblance to Hank Azaria & Steve-O.           Comparison: Road to Singapore meets Rio Rita
