Miner's Massacre/Curse of the Forty-Niner (2003)

6 people are in search for gold that a brother of one of them had found. However he died soon after finding it. And now that they’ve arrived in the woods with barely any idea of what they are up against, the killings will commence. Seems the gold belonged to the meanest miner out there. And he won’t let anyone get his gold!

Overall: The film just seemed to be a cheesy excuse to duplicate the “Leprechaun” films but with someone taller. The ladies are only there to show off their abs as the film skimps on any nudity but goes long on showing skin. No one really acts smart in this film and frankly, the script just wasn’t very good. Little info on why this gold was so easy to find or why the miner magically is awake now, or anything like that. We have a few horror movie veterans and yet they didn’t exercise any skills to make this film watchable. Go rent “The Revenge of Bloody Bill.”
