Massacre in Dinosaur Valley/

Kevin has just landed in Brazil and is looking to to make a trip to “Dinosaur Valley” to find some fossils. He ends up on a small plane with a Vietnam vet, some models and a daughter/father doctor team. Needless to say, the plane crashes and after tons of fighting amongst themselves, some local cannibals show up to finish them off.
Overall: The only thing the movie has going for it, is the nudity, of which there is plenty of. The story isn’t very good nor is the acting. And frankly, it takes a good 43 minutes before any cannibals even show. And to think that this film gets marketed in some places as “Cannibal Ferox II” considering it has nothing that approaches the original film. The nudity, gore and more gore aren’t even up to par and there isn’t a dead animal to be found. The deleted scenes added nothing to the story considering how weak it was to start with. In fact, one of the basic problems is you have too many people with too many different stories running around for 40 minutes attacking each other…then the cannibals show. Tough to keep track of what agenda everyone is pushing. Anyway, I’d skip this film because if you are looking for Brazilian Exploitation films, try “Jungle Holocaust” or “Cannibal Ferox.” Comparison: Medicine Man meets Parents |
