Hayasaki is a scientist working on a mechanical chair designed for disabled people. He is a quiet man who spends most of his life not getting what he wants nor having the courage to speak out. Suddenly, his world is turned upside down by the appearance of his “doppelganger,” a person identical to him in body but opposite in mind. Now he’s never sure what sort of trouble his “twin” is doing but he knows it’s not gonna be good. He has to find a way to stop him…before he gets himself killed.
Overall: The film was really good for the first 30 minutes and I had some wonderful ideas about where I thought the film should have gone. It didn’t. All over the place was basically the plot from then on, which although a tinge disappointing kept me on my toes. The viewer is not gonna know where the film is headed, so please don’t try. As the film starts to break up in double and triply split screens, you know you are in for a ride. This film so far seems to have people who either like it or hate it but I’m falling right in between. I think the film could have been better with more a conventional storyline to it, but from the way the film did end up, it wasn’t that bad. Comparison: Poison Ivy meets Twins |
