Baby Doll (2004)

Casey is just starting a new relationship with this nice guy. Unfortunately he decides to cross the line and Casey feels the need to strongly encourage him to do better. A few nice talks, stabbings with a scissors and a few bashes on the head might just do it. Of course, Casey isn’t exactly that sane…but then again “all men are bad!”

Overall: Just a small episode in the Lake Films’ series of "The Mind’s Eye." I’ve seen a few movies now with Rosemary Gore and I can totally tell that with each film, she's definitely showing why she's got a bright future ahead of her. Although playing the mild-mannered office worker by day, when she’s dressed up as the “baby girl,” she finally breaks out with her talents. I really thought she was quite believable and really made this short film an intense ride. The twist at the end was quite ingenious and the long camera focus on her as we see her insanity is definitely a “can’t miss” piece of work.
