Long Time Dead (2002)

A bunch of young adults decide to play with a Ouija board and accidentally conjure up the spirit of a Djinn, an evil genie of sorts of millennia ago. One of the participants becomes possessed by the demon and the friends gotta figure out how to stop it before they all end up dead.

Overall: This really wasn’t a very good British film and the story has been beaten to death here in America. This is basically a merging of “Wishmaster” with “Witchboard” and since both of the series have a combined 7 films, I think this has all been done enough. The problems with this film other than its unoriginality, is that there are way too many characters and it become difficult to learn anything new about them. They are basically glossed over and nothing new comes out of the story except to recognize Lukas Haas as the only person who is not British. Makes you wonder what’s he’s up to since “Lucas.” This story gets really old...really quickly so I’d say “Skip it.”
