The Sixth Sense (1999)

Malcom Crowe is a child psychologist who receives an award on the same night that he is visited by a very unhappy ex-patient. After this encounter, Crowe takes on the task of curing a young boy, Cole, who is having problems at home and in school. Cole's mom is at her wit's end with what to do about her son's increasing problems and Crowe may be the child’s only hope.
Overall: Well there’s not much you can say about this film other than how excellent it was. This was a scary, creepy film was a secret that was kept until the end. Everything made sense and the acting was tremendous. Unfortunately for the director, Shyamalan then grabbed the very ending and has kept re-generating it for every film that has come out since. But at the time, this clearly was one of the best films made in the horror genre. Comparison: The Crying Game meets Ghost |
