Stephen King's The Night Flier (1997)

The movie is about a down and out tabloid newspaper reporter whose career is going up in smoke. One last story for him is to find out why some mysterious deaths are occurring at some small town airports. After a bit of detective work, it seems there is a vampire on the loose and our reporter is always one airport behind. That is until he figures out the pattern and comes face to face with the mysterious stranger.
Overall: One of the better movies out there that is closely related to the book. The story, written by Stephen King and encased in his book of short stories, "Skeleton Crew" is about a down and out tabloid newspaper reporter. Good film and great story as well as an unusually good performance by Miguel Ferrer. The ending is an all-time classic and definitely a strong part of the film. I recommend this one.
