Silent Prey (1997)

A New York cop goes deep undercover to a nunnery where many a woman is being raped. Only NYPD Sheila Fine (Carla Shaya) can get the job done, so she poses as a catholic school girl in order to ferret out the criminal. While inside she finds even more rapes occurring but these are later followed up by unexplained deaths. As if life isn't already bad, a pedophile she'd arrested is suing her for injuries he claims he sustained because of police abuse. Her life is almost completely downhill when the main suspect, the gardener, shows up dead. She's suspended, her boyfriend as left her and yet another rape occurs. Does Sheila have one last plan or will the nunnery never find the bad guy?
Overall: Very weak film staring Carla Shaya, best known for being the NYPD cop fired after posing for Playboy. Guarantee yourself she'll appear nude, arrest people with proper procedures and act no more Jewish than I am a Buddhist. Skip this. Comparison: Night of the Demons meets Illicit Dreams |
