Innocent Blood/Inocente Mordida (1992)

Marie is a French vampire in the city looking for the perfect dinner. She finds a local mob boss and takes his blood…but she doesn’t finish him off. He turns into a vampire and decides to makes his crime family one that will live for eternity! She must finish what she started and look to an undercover cop for help.

Overall: The movie doesn’t suffer for either a lack of nudity or gore. It is fairly entertaining and perhaps a nice prelude to "Blade" and other films that feature vampire gangs. The movie is big on stars: Chazz Palminteri, Anthony LaPaglia, and Robert Loggia, as well as 4 stars from “The Sopranos” too. Film is a bit slow though, for it seems to take forever for Loggia’s character to realize what’s going on and what advantages he has. But Anne Parillaud does a great job and definitely a winner here.
