Terror Train (1980)

Elena still isn’t completely over the prank that Doc and frat boys played on poor little Kenny 3 years ago. The idea was he was to have sex with one of the hottest chick in the sister sorority. As he went to bed the young nymph he realized his bed-buddy was a corpse, courtesy of Doc’s new night job at the morgue. Kenny freaked out and left school for good. 3 years later the seniors are on a New Year’s Eve Masquerade Ball Train Ride. But once aboard these co-eds realize they aren’t alone. A sinister evil force has begun to make the group responsible for Kenny’s breakdown disappear one at a time.

Overall: The motive of the killer and hence the story is extremely simple and obvious. The film tries to keep you involved by masquerading Kenny so despite the fact he know who is killing, you really don’t know what they look like. But this only gives the viewer a teeny bit of interest. If you sit through this it’s because you are either fascinated with how bad Jamie lee Curtis’ teeth are or with David Copperfield’s appearance. The fact he has become so popular and did this film provides much of the interest or the viewer since you can essentially see the true beginnings of his work. Other than watching for those 2, no reason to pay attention. The movie cover is scarier than the film!
