A weekend retreat at a cabin in the woods for a group of childhood friends turns into a nightmare as a former friend, whose family was killed years, earlier comes looking for revenge. Overall: This is one of the first “all-black” horror films. That by itself isn’t a problem, but when you have certain stereotypes in your head of certain types of people, watching this movie tends to remind you that this film is terrible. Maybe it is because I’m white, but I don’t see African-American young adults running away because they hear a scary sound. I guess this film brings up the stereotypes in me because frankly, we see enough "gang" spoofs and whatever else, that regardless of whatever sounds, Americans of color tend to confront anything disturbing them. To see these same people running away in fear, just wasn't believable to me. The film quality is brutal. It’s like watching a TV news cast replaying film aired 50 times before. It’s worse than a college documentary film. It’s almost of the quality of the first “Backyard Wrestling” movies. I mean it is terrible and it really becomes difficult to figure out what is going on. The best part of this movie is the poster above. And the fact the opening credits have spelling errors...well, I’d had enough! I’m gonna replace “Troll 2” and “Savage Vengeance” with this films as the worst film ever and give this the special "Wooden Spoon’s Worst" award!
