Summary:
Jared and Casey are a wealthy young couple who fill their free time by staging elaborate fantasies for their own joy. They hire some help to ensure everything goes the way the want. One of Casey's favorites is her lover, Robert, and this time might just be the time Casey asks him to killer her husband, for real. No one ever knows what's real and what isn't, until someone dies.
Overall: There is no real character of Stephanie as by the 39 min mark she no longer exists. She’s just a character in a role-playing scenario cooked up by a few wealthy young adults with no jobs. So essentially the movie is one giant role-playing game and the viewer has to figure out which is real & which isn’t. The title, which is probably the all-time best one, is what will you get u watch this film. So if you rented this film, you did it out of the old fable "Don’t judge a book by it’s cover." To ever watch this film you break that by judging a video by it’s title. Knowing what the film is really about, there is no reason to view this movie...it fails for all the reasons “April Fool’s Day” succeeds. This film was made 3 years later and magically reduced the number of characters and took the farce a few steps farther. The PG-13 rating is deserved, hell I’d give it a PG. The blood looks as fake as the props anyway. Comparison: April Fool's Day meets Othello |
