Nude for Satan (1974)

Dr. Benson is driving along a country road when he sees a vision and ends up crashing his car. Seconds later Susan Smith also ends up in an accident. But the doctor is in and helps the girl into his stalled vehicle. Realizing he needs more help, he abandons the woman and visits a nearby house for help. Once inside, he becomes confused by the occupants of it, thinking Susan Smith has recovered to such an extent that is now in costume. But the next morning the real Susan Smith awakens in Doc’s car and visits the house too. Soon the two victims realize the house is full of look-alikes and they are out to corrupt everyone. They must battle Satan in order to escape alive.

Overall: The movie is promoted as being unavailable for 25 years and this is the first chance to see what all the commotion is about. I’d hope that you would heed my advice and stay away from this film. The film makes no real sense at all. There are almost no actual references to Satan and the characters don’t even recognize that the “look-alikes” are so vastly different from who they are supposed to be. If Suzan was injured in an accident and the Doc leaves her there, walks straight to the house and then finds Suzan all dressed up with no signs of injury, shouldn’t this clue you in? Yet the Doc thinks this is possible. Susan loses part of her top after being attacked by a paper-mache spider so spends the last 30 minutes with a breast hanging out of her top. The Doc wearing a jacket doesn’t offer it to her and she seems unfazed by it, she never covers up. The character's actions are never realistic for a second. The guy leaves an injured unconscious woman in his car, in the middle of the road and goes for help – making no effort to ensure her safety or she’ll be ok. Then he gets to the house and basically forgets the girl is even there. Meanwhile she goes to the house and forgets he even saved her and then finds it fun to take a shower with a woman she’s never met before. The movie makes no sense and the ending makes it even worse. What was the point?
