De Kalb County, Illinois will now be remembered as the city of unspeakable horror. A secret govt. project to run mutations on animals for warfare has finally gotten out of control. A mutant has escaped from it confines and is running through an abandoned house free to do as it wishes. But this animal is on a collision course with a few teens on their way to find a haunted house and the government agents in an emergency to find the creature. When all is said and done, don’t underestimate the cunning of this beast!
Overall: Very bad film with a worse story. The film almost is a copy of “The Item”: too much dialogue & not enough action. By the end the creature seems to act like a shrink for these victims and nothing seems to have gotten accomplished. And to top it off, the look of the beast is nothing more than a rip-off of “Critters.” Comparison: Castle Freak meets Hell Night |
