Vampyros Lesbos (1971)

Linda has been having visions lately of a lesbian who appears to have found her and wants her for herself. Taking advantage of a business trip to Turkey, she finds herself on an island occupied by the woman of her dreams. But soon Linda is drawn into a strange world of lesbianism and vampires from which she may never come back from!
Overall: I’ve seen a lot of “lesbian vampire” films in my time, but this has got to be one of the worst of them. Most aren’t in English so the language barrier doesn’t influence me. The story, the pace and the lesbians do, however. The film plods along and fails to keep the viewer even remotely interested and at the time, the story goes for minutes with no dialogue (and those aren’t even the sex scenes). The film is labeled as a classic but all I can say is...if “Blood Thirsty” interested you, you’ll love this film! Comparison: Death on the Nile meets Blood Thristy |
