The Item (1999)

Alex, Rita, Martin, Lauren and a guy named “fatty” are the care-takers for a box with mysterious contents. A scientists sells the box to a millionaire who send some of his cronies to get the cargo and watch it overnight. But the switch goes bad leaving a few dead and when the 5 cronies forget the rules, the contents of the box come out for killing.
Overall: I fell for this trick. You know the one...probably spent more money on the video cover than the movie itself. Yep, I judged a video by its cover and watched this film. It’s got a ton of spoof in it and drags along, way too much with useless drivel (also called “storyline”). I wish I’d left it on the shelves and if u understood this film, then let me know what u got out of it. I saw it as nothing more than too much art and too much “phallic symbols” for a cheesy film.
