Shiver Of The Vampires/Le Frisson des vampires (1970)

Antoine and Isle have gotten married and have come to visit their cousins in a French castle. Upon their arrival, they find that their vampire hunter cousins have died and been buried. But they are welcomed into the home where the 2 female servants are there to cater to every desire and soon Isle doesn’t want to leave. The Vampires of the area have sunk their teeth into Isle and only Antoine’s sanity can help break them out.
Overall: Of the lesbian vampire genre, this film fits it to a "t." The 2 servants probably spend 10 seconds in the entire movie without see thru clothing or appearing nude. In other words...all nudity and flesh, all the time. And there’s a nude vampire who’s jumping out of clocks and other places seeking to fondle everyone that goes by. Good film but beware, it’s in French. My big question: Why are so many torches used if each room is already pre-lit? Comparison: Dracula meets Femalien |
