Karl is not only the address book killer but he’s also a computer technician at a sales outlet. When Terry brings her son in to look for some computer software, she leaves her book at the store. A tremendous storm ends up creating a nasty driving experience for Karl as he goes to pay a visit to Terry and he ends up dying on an “ER” table. Only a quick burst of power can save his life by turning him into a surge of energy. Doing this makes him more powerful than ever as he can now search out his victims, all from a page in Terry’s address book. But there’s a certain computer hacker that was new to the computer shop that could help Terry out.
Overall: The film sounds cheezy but it really does a good job. Yes, the effects are almost 9 years old but definitely keep your attention. And if there was any reason you needed to explain why magnets are bad for your floppy disks, watch the ending to this film. Comparison: The Net meets Shocker |
