Valentine (2001)

Valentine’s Day has not been kind to Jeremy Melton but it has been a long time and as he has grown up, so has his anger. In 6th grade at a Valentine’s day dance, he was mistreated by the girls and accused of being a bad boy. Now he has waited long enough to take his revenge.

Overall: There is more to the story than my simple summary but the film does nothing more than “Carrie,” “Milo,” and “”Prom Night” have already done. I think the only unique thing about the film is the ending. Basically the film doesn’t want you to know who the killer is and finally, a movie ends with a good ending. You may say it sucks but I liked it and of course found it to be very “Joyride-ish.”

Comparison: Carrie meets Sleepless in Seattle
