Shivers (1975)

Doctor Roger is just a happy tenant in Starlight Towers until a friend of his kills a young girl then himself. Now the Doctor feels that he must find the reason behind this mess but he'll find more than he ever bargained for. Seems the old man was experimenting with a parasite which helps stimulate the body for sex and something has since gone terribly wrong. From the body of the dead girl, the parasite spreads itself room to room until soon the entire apartment building is plagued by vampiric zombies looking for blood and sex. Canada may never be the same.
Overall: Good effects but the film isn't as good as some fans have made it out to be. The film acts more as " Night of the Living Dead" meets a porn film than anything else. No big stars but worth it for the elevator scenes. Comparison: Night of the Living Dead meets Gore-Gore Girls |
