Gore-Gore Girls (1972)

Abe Gentry has been hired by a newspaper to investigate some very
heinous murders of local San Francisco strippers and because he's the best
there is, he'll do it, for a price. But that seedy side of life isn't very
amenable to giving up info about their own people, unless u add a $20 to
each question. The deeper Abe gets the worse the murders become and soon
only a trap involving a strip-off for the entire city will set things
right.
Overall: The film's title plays off on the old 60's phrase of "go go girls" but that should tell you how old and dated this film is. The nudity is abundant but so is the gore. It is cheezy gore, obviously fake but nonetheless definitely exuberant and plentiful. Enjoy the violence for what it is and I guarantee you won't see more unique ways to maim a dead body that one sees in this film. How's this for murder weapons: French fry maker, meat tenderizer (see video below), and writing utensil. Definitely a don't miss film. Comparison: Showgirls meets Seven |
