The Clown at Midnight (1998)

Kate is helping her fellow classmates open a theater when her hallucinations start to get the best of her. Seems her mom was killed years ago in this theater and the killer has never been found. Now that she is back and the feelings get all mushy, a few more students are ready to do some cleaning up - of each other. But not before the killer clown disposes of all the bodily fluids...I mean evidence.

Overall: Sound like "Popcorn"? Sure seems like a sequel to me. How far has Christopher Plummer fallen over the decades? He did do "Sound of Music" and sang "Edelweiss." Remember that? Now he's in crap like this. Oh and the last time I saw Margot Kidder was "Superman 3" - another winner! The film will confuse you big time because just when you think you know who the killer is, you are tricked. 3 different people put on that damn clown suit and when you think you know whom and why, it doesn't match up with anything else. Poorly written and it lacks any substantive acting.

Comparison: La Boehme meets Killer Clowns from Outer Space
