It is Lanier College and all sorts of high jinks are happening. Students have just staged a fake "terrorist assassination" to help students cheat on their exams so the idea that a serial killer may be on campus may not be too unbelievable. But Courtney wants a happy college life and a nice boyfriend and the frat boys want to have fun. Even if it kills them.
Overall: If a movie ever suffered from too much plot, it is this one. After a couple is killed at a neighboring college during the opening credits, we go 55 minutes with any murders. The time is spent developing characters and the storyline. But then the last 20 minutes has everyone end up dead and no clue why. There is no known connection between the killer and the college or the students. We never find out anything about the killer and only 2 characters even see the other dead bodies anyway. The film should have really just skipped the deaths and became more cheesy, via Porky’s rather than drop into pathetic and illogical murders. Definitely a slasher film without the slash.
