Blood Massacre (1987)

Summary: Rizzo and his 3 hoodlum buddies have botched up a robbery at a video rental place and need a place to hide out. They pick this out of the way shack in the middle of nowhere ignoring that a family happens to live there. Problem is, this isn’t your typical family who’d just sit there and cower to the bad guy’s violence. This family has secretes of their own, and they’re gonna fight back!           Overall: For awhile, I wasn’t sure who exactly was our main character and would survive this battle of wits between the bad guys but basically you realize that the reason this one particular individual lives is for their use of silly action shots. Neither of the other 3 would have pulled those off. It’s not a very good film but there is worse out there. Just sorta forgettable and not worth the time. As for the “Secret,” I won’t spoil it…but it’s not all that imaginative.           Comparison: Texas Chainsaw Massacre meets Desperate Hours
