Summary: Alex is a cop who discovered our world has vampires occupying it. Realizing how dangerous they can be to society, he realizes the only way he can truly save his family from these creatures, is to distance himself from his loving wife and child. With no distractions, he sets out to kill everyone he finds, hoping he’ll come back into contact with partner from the Police force who gave into the delights of the vampire world. What he doesn’t know, is that the final battle will be fought with Alex’s family deep in trouble.
Overall: There are low-budget films which are more focused on simply finishing their film at all costs and then films such as this one, which still take care to both put up something both enjoyable, and yet good. We’ve got a good story, some really imaginative dialogue and actors who know how to do their jobs. The fight scenes were believable, the effects still legitimate and overall, we’ve got a good film that’s worth a watching. And don’t miss the DVD extras for the “alternate ending.” The film isn’t afraid to have some fun, isn’t taking itself too seriously…but also not trying to insult the audience either. And hey, we get a nice history lesson too as the story progresses. So go find the film and enjoy. Comparison: The Brotherhood meets Blood Angels |
