Las Vegas Blood Bath (1989)

Summary: Sam thought his life had changed for the better because of landing a big business deal. Instead, he decides to surprise his wife and finds her having an affair. He kills them both and decides to go maniacal through the city streets of Las Vegas to kill all “the whores.”           Overall: There are times when I truly think I’ve sent he worst film out there…then movies like this come along. The effects although quite gory still leave a bit to be desired…at times. Let me stress that. The fact that “Sam” pulls a fetus out of a pregnant woman was not only so wrong…it really was a nice effect. And yet the scene where Sam drives off and rips off a hooker’s leg…was just the worst dreck to call itself an “effect.” Just when they do something good…something awful is sure to follow. But the film fails in one easy place: the Oil Wrestling Ladies party. It was if the creator of this film couldn’t find anyone to act unless he paid them something good and these were the only people he could find. We have a baby-shower of sorts where Sam decides to hang-out and watch them for more than half the film as the ladies sit on the floor and talk. It might just be the most boring scene ever! But what takes the cake here is the acting. Watch ‘em!!! It’s like the cue cards are right next ot the camera because they folks have no clue what they’re doing onscreen. No acting abilities…no one is that good looking and frankly, there is nothing remotely of interest to recommend to others.
