Death Rage (1978)

Summary: Peter is sent to Italy to avenge a death by killing an Italian Mob Boss. Seems he’s still looking for the person responsible for the death of his own brother and the chance to look further into that and to come out of retirement for more killing, all the more worth it. But while there, he realizes everyone is expecting him. With the help of an assassin-wanna-be and his stripper friend, Peter will succeed, but at what price?           Overall: I really wanted to like the film but every time I saw Yul Brenner running around, I sooo wanted it to be Charles Bronson. The film had “The Mechanic” written all over it and frankly, that film is just so much better than this one. New side to Yul for me, but just an “ok” film.           Comparison: The Mechanic meets Ronin
