Ghost of Mae Nak (2006)

poster

Summary: Mak and Nak are a young couple who have just moved into their first home as a married couple. But the house they own has a history much older than them and spirits who won’t rest until they get what they want. And this time, love won’t conquer all!

Overall: My first Thai film and despite some “so-so” effects at times, I enjoyed the film. I loved the shots of Bangkok and although that wasn’t germane to the film, I still enjoyed the cinematography. As for the basic story, it’s a decent film. Definitely worth a viewing and Pataratida Pacharawirapong is such a beauty!
