The Dead Live (2004)

Summary: Alex is a news reporter looking for the ultimate scoop and today is her lucky day. It happens to be the day the dead have decided to walk the Earth and if she can survive, she’ll have an exclusive to the biggest story ever.           Overall: Although one enjoys a good indie film effort once and a while, you still gonna deliver a good product too. The film’s sound is completely off…depending on how the scene was shot will depend on how much you’ll be turning your volume up. The idea of the film was to have a few people stuck battling each other and the zombies. But the characters are so annoying, I was rooting for Lucas (our bad guy) to just kill everyone so the movie would end. He’s by far the worst horror film character and there’s no excuse he doesn’t die earlier on. That’s just bad story writing there. Leaving him alive for so long means you shouldn’t be able to write another film. Please stay away from this mess.           Comparison: Night of the Living dead meets Hide and Creep
