Overall: The film is basically not a horror film in any way but it was once a banned film, and hence its inclusion. The film has a tremendous amount of blood in it. I’d like to throw in “gore” but frankly, the bloody is so campy and plentiful, that’s all you really see. Every victim ends up with a big spurt of blood flying out of their neck, chest or even head. The film isn’t intended to be campy but in a sense it comes off as such. The blood and death scenes are just so over the top, to be amusing. The film is essentially 2 films merged into one…for us Westerners: with some excerpts from the first film of the “Lone Wolf” series, “Sword of Vengeance,” and the remaining from “Baby Cart on the River Styx.” It’s a silly film but worth some fun on a lonely evening.
