The Demons of Ludlow (1983)

Summary: Ludlow is trying to enjoy their anniversary, celebrating it with all the fanfare. The problem is, recently a lot of longtime townsfolk have been moving out. And when a gift from the old country arrives, an old piano, weird things start to happen. And those weird things involve a curse and imminent death.

Overall: This film is sorta the film where you can’t really knock it or pump it up either. It’s just “there.” The acting is so-so, the idea of a haunted piano seems silly because they never really flesh-out the idea of a spirit instead as opposed to simply the instrument is haunted. And finally, we have a writer who comes back to town after a long absence, starts to investigate and then as she’s questioning the towns mayor, actually says “oh I don’t anything.” And the worst thing is...she means it. By that point, the story has barely progressed. There are a on of worse films out there. There’s just not much saving your time from watching this.
