Nightmare (1964)

Summary: Janet is coming home from a long time away from home. She saw her mother kill her father and so for years has feared for her own sanity. She is feeling better…until being back in the house of her mom’s insanity starts to drive her mad. And soon enough she’s driven out of her mind and committed…but it’s not over yet…even the conspiracists deserve their “just dessert.”           Overall: After the film ended, I was like “that was just ‘ok’.” But I admit, as time has gone by, the film actually is sorta better than that. Janet is driven insane early on that u figure the movie is gonna be over quite soon, but things get complicated. The people responsible for Janet’s insanity will end up slowly going out of their minds and the fact the film deals with both is sorta cool. It definitely was a surprise to me as the film continued on. So it was a pleasant surprise and I definitely did not find the film predictable.           Comparison: Paranoiac meets Screaming Skull
