Summary: The Maski reservation has a new menace, and this time, it's
not "The White Man." In fact, the new enemy is the vampire bat which has found
it's way onto the reservation and placed itself directly in-between a battle
between a Tribal Cop and his "traitorous" "White Man's Cop" counterpart. Seems
that Walker Chee has decided to move into the present day and team up with White
Society and Big Business while Duran, the tribal cop, is trying to ensure the
reservation keeps to its roots. But this deadly menace may just kill everyone
on the reservation and then whose fault will it be?
Overall: Yet another film showing us the danger of nature when it gets out of control and in fact this film was released a mere 2 months before "Prophecy." The film has a nice cast but it's a slow film focusing a ton on the political implications of big business and Native American life, and also just flat contains fake bats. The effects aren't good and the film looses credibility quite fast. You can skip this. Comparison: Bats meets Thunderheart |
